Illustration Fridays: Invention 2.0

Apparantly my robot appealed some part of my subconscious mind. I couldn't stop doodling little robots. Below is the result of some of them being artfully and painstakingly arranged on my scanner. (that was sarcasm)

I like the doggie in the lower righthand corner.

Illustration Fridays: Invention

So here's how my thought process went:
I'm not going to make a robot. Everyone's going to make robots, except me. I won't make a robot. I bet there are 1,000 ideas I can come up with for 'invention' that don't involve robots. No robots. I'm not going to draw a robot.

Naturally I drew a robot.

I always think that poorly used gradients make digital work look amateur, so naturally I had to add some of that, too. I need to figure out how to use gradients, I think they can really add to a peice when used correctly.

The web's adding weird lines to my poor robot's legs. I can't figure it out.

Illustration Fridays: Thanksgiving

What do you think of when you think of Thanksgiving? Pilgrims and Native Americans getting along, of course! And what do you do when you get along with someone? The answer is obvious: climb trees!

A sketch should be here...
